Isaac Hunter in reference to Paul trying to get to Asia:
If you have ever been trying to follow God and you feel like , “God I’m trying to follow you and the thing that I think you’ve called me to do that I’m trying to do faithfully, it’s not working out the way that I thought it would. It’s frustrating” Some people quit, Paul didn’t.
Some of you are in seasons of life and you don’t know when it is ending. Paul says, “I’m not pretending that I like where I am. What I’m recognizing in the middle of where I am, is that God is bigger than where I am.” Paul doesn’t display waiting in passivity, he displays waiting in hope. God is bigger than the circumstances in front of him.
At the end of the day our lives aren’t about making circumstances better, it is about being faithful in the circumstances we find ourselves.
